Wash care

As you know, all of our pieces are handcrafted and require a little extra care to maintain their beauty and longevity.

📝 Important Notes Before Washing

Shrinkage:

Our clothes are not pre-washed, so a slight degree of shrinkage may occur after the very first wash.

Color Bleeding:

The fabric is pre-dyed, meaning color bleeding is likely to occur in the initial few washes. The color may also rub slightly against the skin or other light-colored garments before washing.

🫧 Detailed Care Instructions:

Hand Wash Only: Always hand-wash your garment. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean.

Use Cold Water: Wash the piece gently in cold water only.

Use Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent sparingly.

Wash Separately: For the first few washes, always wash the piece separately. Moving forward, always separate darker shades and lighter shades, and separate different fabric types (e.g., wash cotton with cotton).

Drying: Air dry only. Do not tumblet dry. Hang or lay flat to dry in the air, using low sunlight (i.e., dry in the shade or early morning sun) to protect the colors.

Ironing: Iron using mild/low heat.
Protect Embellishments: Do not iron directly over any embroidered, painted, or embellished areas.
